Operator search


You can search for an exact match using search operators by placing quotation marks around a search string.

An example of a search string of two or more keywords that returns results within a designated number of words from each other, in this case three

  • You can search for an exact keyword that occurs in a search result. Consider the following example:
    • A search string "hello world" returns results containing an exact match of hello world. The result is not case-sensitive.
  • You can search for two or more keywords that occur within a designated number of words from each other by placing the keywords inside quotation marks and specifying the proximity using ~##. Consider the following example:
    • A search string "hello world"~3 only returns results in which hello appears within three words of world. The result is not case-sensitive.
  • You can search for a keyword for which results have a minimum occurrence of the given keyword. Consider the following example:
    • A search string "brightspot">4 only returns results in which the keyword brightspot appears at least four times. The result is not case-sensitive.
