Enabling conversion from text to in-line comments

You can enable editors to highlight text and convert the text to a comment in the rich-text editor. This serves as a fast alternative to clicking comment and then writing a comment after doing so.

Note
By default, this setting is off.


To enable conversion from text to in-line comments:

  1. Click menu > Admin > Sites & Settings > Sites > Global.
  2. Click search, located to the left of more_horiz, and type Create Comment From Highlight.
  3. Toggle on the setting to enable editors to highlight text and convert it into a comment by clicking comment.
  4. Click Save.
