Editing or deleting bulk schedules

Once a bulk schedule is created, you may find it necessary to modify the schedule, or even delete it.

To edit a bulk schedule:

  1. Enter the bulk schedule you want to edit. For details, see Entering and exiting the bulk schedule feature.
  2. Once the Edit Schedule pop-up is open, you can edit the schedule, including the Name, Description, Trigger Date, and Bulk Scheduled Items.
  3. When the changes are made, click Save Schedule.

To enter bulk-scheduling mode and edit a bulk schedule:

  1. Enter the bulk schedule you want to edit. For details, see Entering and exiting the bulk schedule feature.
  2. To enter bulk-scheduling mode to create or modify assets to be added to the schedule, click Start Scheduling. Once in bulk-scheduling mode, the bulk-scheduling banner appears at the top of the page.

  3. Create new drafts or scheduled revisions by modifying existing assets and clicking the Schedule button for each to add them to the bulk schedule.
    Note
You can create or modify as many assets as needed while in bulk-scheduling mode. While in this mode, you can only schedule these assets. If you need to immediately publish an asset, you must exit bulk-scheduling mode. Once you exit this mode, the Schedule button is replaced by the either the Publish or Workflow button.
  4. Once you are done modifying the bulk schedule, click Stop Scheduling in the banner to exit bulk-scheduling mode.

To delete a bulk schedule:

  1. Enter the bulk schedule you want to edit. For details, see Entering and exiting the bulk schedule feature.
  2. To permanently delete the bulk schedule, click Delete Permanently.

This only deletes the schedule, but does not delete any of the assets that were contained in the schedule.
