Using shared modules


This topic describes how to use shared modules.

To use a shared module:

  1. In the content edit page, open or create the asset to which you want to add a shared module.
  2. Toward the right of the widget, select more_horiz > Overrides. The Overrides widget appears.
  3. Expand Layout Overrides. Drop-down lists AboveAside, and Below appear for the module's position.
  4. From one of the drop-down lists, select Replace.
  5. Click add_circle_outline , and select Shared. A form appears.
  6. In the Module field, click the selection field. The search panel appears.
  7. In the search panel, search for an existing module or create a new one.
  8. Close the search panel. Your Shared form looks similar to the following:

  9. Complete your site's workflow and publish the item.
