While Draft, Published, and Archived are the three most common statuses in Brightspot, you may find your site uses custom statuses. Usually this is because your site uses a workflow to publish its assets. Workflows are a series of steps an asset must pass through before being published. For example, a workflow might be set up that requires an article to be fact-checked, then copy-edited, then revised before it can be published. All of those steps in the workflow are custom statuses that the asset must pass through on its way to being published.
