Configuring the Quick Start widget


You can add content types, content templates, and assets to a site's Quick Start widget.

To configure the Quick Start widget:

  1. Do one of the following:
    To configure the Quick Start widget... Start by...
    At the global level
    1. Click menu > Admin > Sites & Settings > Sites > Global.
    2. Click search, located to the left of more_horiz, and type Quick Start Settings.
    At the site level
    1. Click menu > Admin > Sites & Settings.
    2. In the Sites list, select the site for which you want to configure the Quick Start widget.
    3. Click search, located to the left of more_horiz, and type Quick Start Settings.
    At the role level
    1. Click menu > Admin > Users & Roles.
    2. In the Roles list, select the role for which you want to configure the Quick Start widget.
    3. Click more_horiz > Dashboards
  2. From the Quick Start Settings list, select Set.
  3. Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
  4. Click Save.
Field Description
Create New Types Select the content types you want to include in the Quick Start widget.
Content Templates Select the content templates you want to include in the Quick Start widget.
Edit Existing Contents
  • Click add_circle_outline to open the content picker.
  • Click search search for additional assets to include in the Quick Start widget
