Fulfilling an assignment


This topic covers how to fulfill an assignment.

To fulfill an assignment:

  1. Search for and open the required assignment.
    Tip
    You can search for assignments using various criteria, and show columns in the search results for urgent and date due. For details, see Filtering search results and Adding fields to search results.
  2. Scroll down and expand Content.

  3. Click a content type for which you want to create an asset.
  4. In the content edit page, do the following:
    1. Create the asset to satisfy the assignment. For explanations about creating different types of assets, see the Brightspot Content Types Guide.
    2. Under Assignment Desk, review and modify the pitches and assignments associated with this asset.

    3. Publish the asset, or advance it to the next status in its workflow.
    4. Click Back. The new asset appears under the assignment’s Content cluster.
  5. In the Assignment widget, set the Status field to either Fulfilled or Closed.

  6. Click Save.
