Brightspot Integrations Guide

Premium integrations

Brightspot provides premium integrations with a variety of different products and platforms. Deploying a premium integration ensures Brightspot interoperates with a service in a manner that matches your publication's editorial processes.

To activate these integrations, you need to follow a typical software development life cycle:

  • Stakeholders determine how Brightspot needs to interact with the service. This typically involves understanding what data elements are available in the service, and how they will be imported into Brightspot.
  • Stakeholders design the back end, typically the content edit forms, widgets, and Edit Global or Edit Site clusters.
  • Developers implement the designs by extending and implementing Brightspot's provided classes and interfaces.
  • Ops deploys the integration.

Some premium integrations may incur additional costs. See the integration-specific topics for more information.
