Configuring Taboola recommendation modules
Once the Taboola integration has been added to your site, you can create and display Taboola recommendation modules. For details on configuring the integration, see Configuring the Taboola integration.
To configure a Taboola recommendation module:
- Click > Admin > Ads.
- From the Create menu in the bottom left corner of the screen, select Taboola Recommendation Module, then click New.
- Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
- Click Save.
| Field | Description |
| Name | Enter an internal name for this asset. Brightspot uses this name internally, such as in the search panel and recent activity widget. This name is not visible to visitors to your site. |
| Placement | Enter the placement value provided by Taboola (for example, Right Rail Thumbnails). |
| Slot | Enter to override the slot name for this ad. If you do not enter an override, Brightspot automatically generates it by appending the value entered into the Placement field to taboola-. For example, if you enter aside into the Placement field, the Slot field will automatically display taboola-aside. |
| Mode | Enter the mode value provided by Taboola (for example, thumbnails-rr). |
| Target Type | Enter the target type provided by Taboola (for example, mix). |
