Sharing a Google Calendar

When you share a Google Calendar, the associated users make updates to those calendars. For example, Adam shares his Google Calendar with Olivia. When Olivia creates or modifies events, they are reflected on Adam's Google Calendar.

To share a Google Calendar:

  1. Search for and open the calendar as described in Searching for and opening a Google Calendar.
  2. In the right rail, click widgets to open widgets for publishing tools.
  3. In the Calendar Access widget, click Manage Access.

    • To share the calendar with all users in your current site, click Enable Site-Wide Access.
    • To share the calendar with all users in a role, click New Role and select the role.
    • To share the calendar with a specific user, click New User and select the user.
  5. Close the Calendar Access Overview widget.

Referring to the previous illustration, Adam shared his calendar with all users in the Writer role, as well as with Olivia Arribas.
