Sponsor
This topic explains how to create a sponsor in Brightspot.

To create a sponsor:
- In the header, click .
- From the Create list, select Sponsor.
- Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
- Complete your site's workflow and publish the sponsor.
After you save your sponsor, you can use it in assets such as articles, galleries, and listicles.
Sponsor fields
Click each tab below to see a description of the associated fields.
Field | Description |
Display Name | Enter a display name. This name is not visible to the visitors to your site. |
Internal Name | Enter an internal name for this asset. Brightspot uses this name internally, such as in the search panel and recent activity widget. This name is not visible to visitors to your site. |
Logo | Click and select an image. This image is visible to visitors to your site. |
Sponsor Link | Select None, Internal or External.
When setting up an internal or external call to action, you have the option to set how the link will behave. Select either Internal or External, then specify a target or, for internal links only, an anchor to which you link visitors. |
Field | Description |
Sponsor Display Text | Overrides the default Sponsored By text that appears before the name of the sponsor. For instance, you could change it to Brought to you by . |
Field | Description |
Locale | Sets the content's locale. This setting can also be used to auto-localize content based on the users requested locale. |
