Syndicated Page
The Syndicated Page content type is used to facilitate syndicated headers and footers. This allows for a Brightspot editor to create a 鈥淪yndicated Header鈥� and 鈥淪yndicated Footer鈥� object in Brightspot that can be used to provide header and footer styling and navigation to third-partypages.
Syndicated Pages use Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) to enable a browser loading resources from domains in addition to the Brightspot server. See for more information.
To create a Syndicated Page:
- In the header, click .
- From the Create list, select Syndicated Page.
- Using the following tables as a reference, complete the fields as needed.
- Complete your site's workflow and publish the asset.

| Field | Description |
| Display Name | Enter the Display Name for the asset. This name is visible to users and visitors. |
| Internal Name | Enter an internal name for this asset. Brightspot uses this name internally, such as in the search panel and recent activity widget. This name is not visible to visitors to your site. |
CORS Configuration鈥攕elect from the following:
- None鈥擭o CORS configuration is added to the syndicated page.
- Set鈥擜dditional fields (below) are displayed to allow for CORS configuration for the syndicated page.
| Field | Description |
| Allowed Origins | This field configures the third-party origins that is allowed to pull assets from. The URL scheme and port are not necessary when adding your allowed origins. However, if the scheme is important, you must include it to ensure only that scheme and its default port are allowed. If port is important, then the scheme and port must be specified. For example:

| Allow Credentials | Toggle on to tell browsers whether to expose the response to the front-end JavaScript code when the request's credentials mode is included. See header for more information. |

| AMP Disabled | Toggle on to disable generation of an AMP version of this asset. For details, see AMP. |
Logos & Icon Overrides
| Field | Description |
| Logo | Select a new image to serve as the logo that displays on this asset. For information about creating a logo, see Image Logo. |
| News Publisher Logo | Select a new image to serve as the news publisher logo that displays on this asset. |
| Default Promo Image | Image appearing in the asset's image when the asset is used as a promo. Brightspot automatically populates this image from the site's default promo image, and you can override this as needed by selecting a new image. |

| Banner | Select one of the options to override the inherited banner. For details, see Applying a breaking news banner. |

| Locale | Sets the content's locale. This setting can also be used to auto-localize content based on the users requested locale. |
