Images are visual assets that enhance all Brightspot sites, and are used on nearly every page. Brightspot offers a shared image library, plus the ability to upload one-off images—images that are not shared to the library. This topic explains how to add a shared image to Brightspot individually; however, you can upload multiple images in bulk by using the Upload widget if it is placed on the dashboard. For details, see Standard dashboard and widgets.

To add an image:
- In the header, click .
- From the Create list, select Image.
- Using the following table as a reference, complete the fields as needed.

If your version of Brightspot includes image recognition, terms associated with the image appear under Brightspot Image Recognition. (For information about image recognition, see Submitting an image or video to Amazon Rekognition.)
After you save your image, you can use it in assets such as articles, galleries, and authors. You can also add images to text you compose in the rich-text editor.
