Above, Aside, and Below layout blocks


You can add modules to the layout of a page by selecting options from the Above, Aside, or Below lists found within each level's layout settings. This topic explains each layout block, and the settings available to you when adding modules to them.

Above layout block

The Above layout block is an area of a page that exists above the title of the asset. Modules placed into the Above layout block therefore appear above the title of the asset.

Aside layout block

The Aside layout block is an area of a page that exists along the side of the asset's content. Modules placed into the Aside layout block therefore appear beside the main content on the page.

Below layout block

The Below layout block is an area of a page that exists at the bottom of the content in an asset, but above the footer, if one exists. Modules placed into the Below layout block therefore appear below all content, but above the footer.
