Enabling asset sharing between sites

You can use assets published on other sites. This is useful in the following scenarios:

  • An editor wants to re-use assets created for one site on a different site.
  • An editor wants to link an original asset and its updates to a different site.

Asset sharing is enabled at the site level for the destination site, and assets can be accessed from specific sites or from all sites.

To access a specific site's content in your current site:

  1. Ensure you are on the destination site (the site that will be using another site's assets).
  2. Click menu > Admin > Sites & Settings.
  3. Click search, located to the left of more_horiz, and type Accessible Sites.
  4. Under Accessible Sites, select the site whose assets you want to use.
  5. Click Save.

To access all sites' assets in your current site:

  1. Ensure you are on the destination site (the site that will be using all other sites' assets).
  2. Click menu > Admin > Sites & Settings.
  3. Click search, located to the left of more_horiz, and type All Sites Accessible.
  4. Toggle on All Sites Accessible to use all other sites' assets in your current site.
  5. Click Save.
