Publishing an asset

When an asset has the status of published, it means that the asset is live on your site. For assets that are visible to your viewers from the web, such as articles, published assets have an active URL.

To publish an asset, click Publish at the top right of the content edit page.

Note
If a workflow has been applied to the content type you are attempting to publish, the Publish button is replaced by a Workflow button. For details, see Moving assets through a workflow.

You should only click Publish for assets you want to be visible to your visitors.
