Creating additional drafts
This topic describes how to create additional drafts.
To create additional drafts:
- Search for and open the asset in the content edit page.
In the Version History widget, select a draft from which you want to create a new one. (In versions prior to v4.8, this widget is named the Revisions widget). The draft鈥檚 information appears in the editorial toolbar.
- Modify the asset.
- In the editorial toolbar, click .
Brightspot saves the new draft, and lists it in the Version History widget.
Comparing a draft with the live version
You can compare a draft to the currently live revision.
To compare a draft with the live version:
- Search for and open the asset in the content edit page.
- In the Version History widget, select the draft that you want to compare with the live version. (In versions prior to v4.8, this widget is named the Revisions widget). The draft appears in the content edit form.
- Under the editorial toolbar, click Compare to Live.
Brightspot displays the differences between the selected draft and live version.
